This place is awesome! We had a party catered at home for about 50 people and the food was a hit.

The food cart was parked at the garage and food came fresh right to our plates. For the appetizers we had the pani puri (made and served right in our kitchen) which were sweet and spicy and delicious, as well as the samosa pav which is a samosa sandwiched in between a soft white bun. This was just mind blowingly good - crispy and soft at the same time, with chutney on top.

They also made fresh made to order masala and plain dosas, which were wayy better than I've had in NJ. They were thin and crisp and the potatoes were so flavorful. I just wish the sambar was a bit spicier but the smooth and creamy coconut chutney made up for it.

They also served mango lassi and kulfi. Overall just so so good.

This food is different from any other Indian food I've had. And it's incredible. I went with friends for their Vegan Wednesday dinner, which consisted of many courses brought out one by one, and then at the end they bring you seconds (and thirds and fourths...) of any of the foods you liked. I was absolutely stuffed. Very great quality and quantity for the price, which is very affordable. Lots of vegan options. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Tonight was our first time at their restaurant. The best service we've had in forever!  The food was fantastic.  We really loved the concept.  We were able to try many different menu items that we've never had before.   Highly recommend!!

BFJ has a brick and mortar restaurant on Adie road in St Ann. They serve small portions of various appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, and a dessert. The menu changes from night to night, and any food items that you want more of are all you can eat except the dessert. The service was fantastic, the food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was quite nice. Highly recommended for fans of Indian food.

Tried the somosas and hummus at a food truck event this past sunday...it's all I want now. The spicy green sauce was AMAZING. The food was hot , fresh, seasoned perfectly! I'm looking up the website to find out when they are close again!

Possibly....no...ACTUALLY my favorite food truck of all time!
Food is incredible. Paneer Roti Wrap is my favorite. Delicious marinated cheese and the rice..oh boy the rice....don't even get me started. Since they have certain hours at the restaurant, I make a bee line to this truck when it comes to my job.

I was so thrilled to discover that there is an Indian food truck in St Louis that I immediately headed over to Creve Coeur Park which was their location of the day. I got there a little early so I walked around the lake till it was time and headed over to the food truck to see there was a line the second it opened. Luckily the line moved fast and I soon got my Samosa Cholay and Paneer Roti Wrap. I only got one little bite of the paneer wrap (need to teach people to share their delicious foods) but had most of the samosa and both dishes were fantastic! I highly recommend this food truck, the service was good and the food flavorful. I am biased towards food trucks (for some reason it just appeals to me to eat food prepared "on the street") and Bombay Food Junkies did not disappoint.

First off: I'm not a vegetarian, nor do I play one on TV, so I'm not naturally attracted to veggie entries.

But.

Damn, their Samosa Chole is good. They offer a decent assortment of add-on chutney, but I thought the flavor balance was spot on right out of the window: a hint of fruit to take the edge off the low, slowly building warmth. Fast, filling, flavorful. And reasonable, which doesn't start with an F, but it's important too for a food truck.

A perfect match for the beers at the annual Brewer's Heritage Festival in Forest Park, especially the hoppier numbers.

Best food truck, ever.  The line was forever long, which made the wait for food long as well, but this stuff is worth the wait.  The paneer Roti wrap was fantastic!  Warm, fresh and full of flavor. It was very much worth the wait and a must try.

My next visit to St. Louis must include chasing this food truck down.  I'm also wondering why an Indian food truck hasn't sprung up in Cincinnati yet...

The food has been wonderful at their dine-in/take-out location.  Freshly made it is worth the short wait if you order when you go in.  They are happy to take call-in orders and have it ready when you arrive.  Some menu items are best eaten on site and they will let you know this.  Ordering there gives me a chance to try one of these while the rest of my food gets ready.  Items are easy to share so it is fun to get a number of things and my family gets a bit of each.  I especially like the paneer sandwich but have enjoyed everything I've had.  I'm the only vegetarian in my family but my husband and daughter don't mind not having meat because the food is so flavorful.
Parking is off street in a lot-usually within a few feet of the door.
I'm really hoping they continue this location even when it warms back up.

Once I heard there was an Indian food trunk, I couldn't wait to try it out. My problem with some food trucks is the portion size - they have a good portion size for the price. Also, 100% vegetarian! They also ask you if you want regular or spicy, and the spicy has a nice kick to it. Their chutneys are also really good. I ordered the samosa wrap with rice and the pav bhaji. They gave me a nice helping of rice and veggies with the samosa wrap. The veggies in the wrap were spicy and fresh, and I also really liked the yogurt dip they gave me with it; reallybalanced out the spice in the wrap. The pav bhaji was a tomato based stew(?) with veggies like peas and onions, and there was bread for dipping. They are usually in the St Charles area, but I will definitely visit again when they come to the city. They also accept credit cards, which is nice. Oh, and they have mango lassi too.

Visited Bombay Food Junkies' truck yesterday for the first time.  WHAT A GREAT SURRISE!! I had the Masala Roti Wrap along with the peanut-carrot salad. I absolutely devoured everything!  I especially LOVED the peanut-carrot salad.  I could eat an entire bathtub full of it!  It is the perfect combination of flavors and textures.  Nice job with that!

I will definitely be back.

The all-you-can-eat sampler of the new Bombay Food Junkies location adds some innovative and welcome variety to the STL Indian restaurant scene. The owners are very personable and were a pleasure to talk to.
I will definitely be back.
